Happy 4th of July!

Ok ok so I’m a bit late (wayy late), but I was busy eating barbecue and partying it up. 🙂 I hope everyone else had a good time as well!

Today I’m here to announce that there has been some changes in the payment method on Deal Barbie Pays and it’s all for the better!

In a previous post, I mentioned that Deal Barbie Pays has a new owner.

Well Christina said she left us in good hands with Dan being the new owner, and with the new changes he implemented, I can see why!

Deal Barbie Pays now has INSTANT and FEE FREE payments to PayPal! That means if you cash out at $20, you’ll be paid even within 30 seconds! There is no more Net35, like before, where you needed to wait a month and 5 days before your payments were sent out. You now get paid instantly, and you will not be charged any fees by PayPal!

Note that you must verify your account before you can cash out! Instructions on how to do so are posted on the news page after you sign up at Deal Barbie Pays. Also, even if you’ve verified before, you need to do it again, because of the new system in place. It’s very simple and takes less than 2 minutes of your time!

Checks and gift cards will now go out twice a month on the 15th and the 30th to all members who request these as their payment method.

Also, now all transfer from cash to signs are instant and can be done via the member side. There is no minimum or maximum cash amount you can transfer to signs. Just visit the converter page and convert your cash to points instantly!

Finally, the Wal-Mart gift card option has been removed from the withdraw section. If you would like a Wal-Mart gift card as your payment method, they are now found in the sign reward section. Simply use the sign converter, convert cash into signs, and then you can request the Wal-Mart card.

My last post discussed that DealBarbiePays.com was sold and now has a new owner! However I had to do this post immediately after to let everyone know that Christina, the old owner, paid off all her members everything they made for the two months, before she left! She did not leave us stranded and without payments.

Here is my recent payment from Deal Barbie Pays. It’s a combined payment for how much I earned in the months of May and June. The following chart shows my five payments from this site, and the two circled ones represent the PayPal amount that I received.

It says lets see how I do a year from now. Well it hasn’t even been a year yet and I’ve already made over $1500 dollars! I can’t believe it. If everyone had the drive to do what I’ve been doing, I don’t think the recession would last much longer. In my last post where I talked about my Total Money Made Online for the month of June, I mentioned that there had been something going on with one of the sites I worked with.

Well the site is Deal Barbie Pays and I must inform you that it has been SOLD. Now before you panic, this definitely doesn’t mean CLOSED DOWN. It means that it will no longer be functioning under the old admin which was Christina. She sold to site to a popular guy in the GPT industry by the name of Dan. I hear good things about him and that he is the owner of a couple of other sites as well. Christina assured us that she left us in good hands and I trust her judgment.

So why did she leave?

I must say the last 3 years have been incredible with all of you. I have the best members ever! I now must do something I feel is best for everyone & turn the reins over to someone who has proven to be an incredible asset to the industry. I must say I’ll miss her dearly! She is what made the site I believe. She was just so sweet and understanding, and always willing to help. She was very approachable and didn’t make herself seem high and mighty like some other owners do. She was very much a regular person just like us, and would sometimes hang out on the forum talking and laughing about stupid stuff. I surely will miss her and I’m sure all the other members there will as well.

With that being said, I understand her decision and family ALWAYS comes first, so I wish her and her family the best of luck.

I’m still a proud member of Deal Barbie Pays and I’m still a moderator on the forum. I have made over $730 with them so far, and I’m definitely going to stick around and keep earning more money.

Hey everyone! Ok so first of all I’m completely sorry for not posting earlier. I’ve been trying my best to keep up! There were a few changes going on with one of the sites I work with, (I’ll post about it separately), and I was trying to work out the details as to what the outcome would be.

Also, I had a few personal things going on.

None the less, I’m am here now, and I’m going to do my regular total earnings updates for the end of the month, in this case, June.

Here’s how it added up!

Cashcrate:
Cash: $118.99
Points: 312

Deal Barbie Pays:
Cash: $123.56
Signs: 1,380.40 (I used a bit for some advertising so that’s why it’s lower than my last post)

Squishy Cash:
Cash: $16.45 (again didn’t make payout so I won’t be counting it in my total earnings)
Chips: 265.00

Paidoffers.org:
Cash: $10.94 (Note this site is no longer running!)

YouData:
Cash: $7.17 (all four payments for this month added together)

Pinecone Research:
Cash: $18 (all six payments added together)

And last but not least Swagbucks where I have 817!

So that makes a grand total of $278.66!

If you remember my goals for this month, they were really just to have fun for the summer and whatever I made I’d be okay with. Well I’m okay with $278.66! Being that I haven’t been working a full time job for a while, the money I’ve been making online in my spare time have been really coming in handy for me. If not for this extra cash, I’d have to dip in my savings every time I wanted to go out or buy anything. Because of this extra cash I make on the side, I still HAVE a savings account that I never actually touch.

Well since I always end with my goals for the following month, I’d say that in the month of July, my schedule is really crazy! I actually just posted a thread on the Deal Barbie Pays forum since I’m a moderator there and wanted to update the members that I wouldn’t be around for some time. Here’s what my schedule for July looks like.

Tomorrow July 3rd. – won’t be around most of the day. Will be helping my cousin prepare stuff for a bbq, and spending time with my bf since he’s off from work. In the evening/night, I’ll be at the bbq.

July 4th – Might be here during the day somewhat, but at night we usually go watch fireworks somewhere, or at someone else’s bbq lol.

July 6th – I’ll be at the gym from 9am to 10am, and then I have an appointment in the evening at 5:30pm. I’ll try to be on somewhere between that.

July 10th – My 5 year anniversary of being with my bf. I’m sure we’ll probably go out or something, most likely in the evening though. 🙂

July 17th – Will be at a friend’s house who’s having a bachelorette party cuz she’s getting married.

July 18th – Her wedding

July 24th to July 27th – I’m leaving to go to Florida for another wedding and the weekend. Will be back July 27th which is the Monday sometime in the evening.

So with that said, you can tell I won’t have a lot of time to be around here much or to be making money online with any of my sites. My goal this month is really try to make payout on them at least.. which is usually around $20. And off course, to have a ton of fun because summer only comes once a year and is very VERY short. 🙂

In my previous post, I talked about PaidOffers.org not running anymore, and I mentioned that this blog was created not only to talk about what works for making money online free, but also what doesn’t! I always say that people should do their research before signing up with any company, and in fact I created this blog so that I could help in the research by narrowing down the real sites from the fake ones!

Now am I stating that PaidOffers.org was a scam? Off course not. His wife had a stroke and that’s totally understandable.

However, while doing my research, I’ve read quite a few interesting things about a couple of popular people in the GPT industry.

Are you a member of a site that’s listed as being a scam site or put on a watch list? Here’s how you can find out.

Visit GPT Boycott which is a site that “aims to name the offending ‘get-paid’ companies, and to urge their visitors to stop using them!” They acknowledge the fact that there are many sites that look to take advantage of their members by acting dishonestly, improperly or fraudulently and stealing their time and money.

On GPT Boycott you can find lists of sites that have been closed down in the past, and other existing ones that members have reported not being paid, etc, so you can avoid these scam sites! You can even submit a compliant to have them check out a site that you’re having problems with.

There is also a GPT Boycott Forum where you can interact with other GPT members and even some of the owners themselves! You can really learn a lot about the whole GPT business and how it works. It can help in your making money online experience greatly!

I recently saw a few threads on this forum discussing a certain Kim Ballard in the GPT industry. Apparently, she is popular for buying a bunch of sites, having users spend their time filling out offers or clicking ads and then just reselling or shutting down the site with no notice and refusing to pay members what they are owed. It didn’t just happen one time either, she then goes out and buy a bunch of new sites and do the same thing. People like this is who you need to watch out for in the GPT industry, so you don’t get scammed. Even though you are spending nothing out of your own money to join these sites, you are still being scammed out of your time, because you are working and not getting paid!

You can do a search on the forum for her name if you want more info on some of the sites she own/owned, so you can be aware of them.

So in several of my previous posts, I mentioned a new site owned by one of my online buddies, Sandy. The site was called Paid Offers. About a week now this site went down, but I refused to post about it without knowing what really caused it. I thought it was just a temporary glitch and might be back up soon. Today I regret to inform you that this site is no longer functioning.

I was unable to continue the site after my wife recently had a stroke
To much of my time and money is needed to focus on her health and being the only one to look after my 3 kids right now and I dont feel I would have the time to invest into the level of customer service to continue to run the site.

I’m truly sorry about his wife and I wish her a speedy recovery. I’m also sorry to all my referrals there that actually took the time to sign up and complete offers. I apologize sincerely. If there’s anything I could do to make it up, please let me know.

As for if this site would ever be back up and running, I’m not sure. I will keep you posted if it returns.

I always promise to keep this blog true to its origin, and that means not only posting about what works, but also what doesn’t. So friend or no friend, I will stay true to my readers. If I learn any more info on this site or on his wife’s conditions, I’ll be sure to update. As of now, I have removed the banner from my list of sites that I make money online with.

As you can see I just hit $100 again on Deal Barbie Pays! This site has been by far, the best way I make money online free, and I’m not just saying that cuz I’m a mod there 😉 They always add new offers throughout the month, and there are ALWAYS great promotions and contests that you can use to earn/win extra cash. Even after being a member at Deal Barbie Pays for 5 months, I’m still managing to rake in over a hundred bucks from mostly doing free offers! As you can see I also have 1600 signs, which I’m saving up for something good. Not sure what yet, but I’ll be sure to post about it whenever I redeem them!

I just heard shocking news from TMZ.com that Michael Jackson has passed away from cardiac arrest at the age of 50.

Yet my local news here in New York, and CNN have not confirmed this yet.

Does anyone have any more info? … Stay tuned, I’ll keep you guys posted when I hear anything else.

He did indeed pass away. The New York Times, just confirmed it.

Even though I was not a huge fan, no one can deny, he is indeed a legend. May his soul rest in peace.
